WORK 09 - A NEW GENERATION OF GUIDES

By: Darco Cazin August 20, 2016

A few years ago, the national Swiss Cycling Guide education was not well established amongst practicing guides. That changed, when Claude took over the education and Allegra (as an activity within the develop- ment project graubündenBIKE) recruited more than 30 candidates for the first entry course in Graubünden. Since then, many courses have taken place and many guides have reached the highest possible diploma. WORK 02 - LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR GRAUBÜNDEN

By: Darco Cazin March 26, 2016

graubündenBIKE has been the most comprehensive development project we have ever worked on, from the concept phase all the way to the execution of single action items. And we‘re proud of the results it has produced.

Graubünden raised 2.4 Million Swiss Francs to invest in the development of the mountain biking offer during five years. Regional and local partners doubled this amount, by investing cash and personal resources. In addition, all destinations made siginificant investments outside of the graubündenBIKE project. This huge effort from all partners was the foundation for the dynamic development of mountain biking tourism in all destinations.
